It’s April Fools Day.
Exactly one year ago while running up the
New Hempstead hill in Rockland County, NY, a horrifying pain in my
right hip flexor made me catch my breath. I stopped, tried to rub it
out, stretched a little, and finished the 45-minute loop. After the
2-hour drive home to PA later that afternoon, I could barely stand up.
Walking? Ha.
