Well, here’s one lesson in recovery I managed to learn in the past few weeks. I partially tore my hip flexor without even trying. This is how it happened… I decided to stretch with my treadmill class after I coached them through an intense cardio workout. I went into a modified hip flexor stretch, felt a tiny pop with no pain, continued on with the rest of my day, and by 10:00 pm that evening I was in so much pain that I couldn’t lift my leg.
